There is nothing like wearing a garment custom-made for you - one with the perfect design, fit, fabric and
color. My goal is to transform your design ideas and fabrics into one-of-a-kind, custom fitted clothes that
you love to wear. My focus is on fit and fine construction details. I specialize in tailored jackets and
suits, pants, dresses and separates.
I would be happy to meet with you for a complimentary consultation, either in my studio or at a fabric store. We
can discuss your needs, fabric and pattern selections, schedule and charges. I can give you an estimate at that time.
When you decide on your custom clothing project we can schedule your first appointment. Depending upon the garments,
pattern and fabric you choose, 1 -3 fittings will be necessary. Please wear or bring appropriate undergarments and
shoes to all fittings.
I generally schedule fittings in my Tigard studio Monday – Saturday between 9AM and 6PM. Special arrangements can
be made to meet at other times. Fittings done in your home or office will have travel time added to your invoice.
At your first appointment, be prepared to have your measurements taken. Bring with you any pictures or inspiration
you have, your fabric and any patterns and notions you have purchased. I will supply appropriate thread, interfacings,
shoulder pads and other notions as needed. Charges for these items will be added to your invoice.
Please be prepared to pay a deposit of $100 - $200 per garment at the first appointment. You will be charged for time
spent on fabric and pattern preparation, cutting, sewing, pressing and fitting. The balance of your invoice total is
due when garments are picked up. I accept cash or personal checks.
Your custom clothing project should be completed in 4-8 weeks depending upon both of our schedules. I will do my best
to meet any special occasion deadlines. Please try to plan well in advance.
You may contact me by phone or e-mail to make your appointment. I look forward to creating special custom garments for you.
